A refreshing unique sound

I had a difficult time trying to decide which category to place this review. The Workaholics are 5 talented musicians from Athens, Greece with a unique sound that crosses many genres. The best way I can describe it is a blend of 80s pop and modern indie rock with a touch of alternative thrown in. Kind of like A-HA meets The Strokes. Who cares what you call it, the result is very enjoyable. Well written catchy melodies and smooth vocals. I haven't been able to get "Astro Boy" out of my head all week. This demo recording contains 4 great songs that are all available for download at their website: www.theworkaholics.net.

Hopefully this is just a taste of what is to come for this band and there will be an album in the very near future. I for one will be looking for it.
