Surviving the System is the second release from Toronto, Ontario's Tripchord. The album is ten tracks of raw, driving, kick ass hard rock that is sure to appeal to both old school Metal fans as well as new.

Front man, Tommy Geraldes displays incredible range for a Metal vocalist. Geraldes is equally impressive belting out a Metal anthem like the opening track, "Reject", as he is performing the more ballad-like, "Distant". Think James Hetfield crossed with Jim Morrison. Other stand out tracks include "Aggregate" and "Sick with Hate". In a year of many somewhat mediocre Metal releases, this album stands out as a gem.

Bio: Based in Toronto, Ontario, Tripchord formed in early 2000 and has been a major force in Toronto's independent music scene ever since. With a unique blend of musicians, Tripchord has been able to produce an original style of hard rock, metal and funk. Never slowing down, but always taking the time to nurture the music has made this band a "must see" show.

Rolling forward into 2006, TRIPCHORD is set to release they're 2nd full length cd onto the hard rock music scene. Signed and Managed by Brad Trew at CYCLONE RECORDS, the wheels are in motion to launch TRIPCHORD into the upper echelon of Canadian artists. Packed with single after single the new album, Surviving the System, has caught the attention of many industry insiders even before the scheduled release date.

Since the beginning TRIPCHORD has remained atop the hardrock scene. They have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Anvil, Micheal Graves (Misfits), Robin Black, and Red Light Rippers...just to name a few. Not only has Tripchord made a huge noise in Toronto, they have also spread their music to Quebec, Montreal, London, Ottawa, Bellville, Pickering, Hamiliton, and Barrie. With a powerful live show, original sound, image and attitude, they have survived in one of the toughest music markets where many others have failed.

With the best front man, Tommy Geraldes, leading the way, the unique guitar playing of Colin Ward, the solid backbone of Trevor on drums, and the rumbling bass lines of Dan, TRIPCHORD is the best thing Hard rock/ metal has to offer.
